Feature changes
Minor version 26.2 introduces several features announced for the 2025 release wave 1 that were not included in version 26.0 or the previous minor. These are:
- another set of new features and changes within the e-document functionality (list on the update scope page ↗), including the option to use the Continia gateway as a service provider for e-documents (now in public preview),
- Power BI report set for subscription and recurring billing area (link to announced description ↗),
- enhanced analytics in the form of Power BI reports, Excel layout reports, in-client reports, and analytical views for production, projects, purchasing, sales, and sustainability areas (list on the update scope information page ↗),
- the ability to add fields from related tables in analysis mode (link to announced description ↗) ⭐ – definitely my favorite feature added in this version and one of the most anticipated by me from the entire 2025 release wave 1!
Hotfixes
Minor version 26.2 also delivers a list of hotfixes for the platform and the application (link ↗).
My attention was caught by:
- fix of the error that allowed the same serial number to be in stock twice (571565),
- fix for automatic reservation, which wasn’t reserving the full quantity on sales lines (572185),
- fixing the inventory receipt posting, that could be posted with zero cost when the VAT Setup is set to use non-deductible VAT (575507),
- fix for correcting sales invoices with drop shipment, which was causing errors during posting the corrections on purchase order and sales order (575847),
- fix for overpicking functionality, which caused an error to display for incorrect quantity in the production order component records at the moment of registering the pick (576019),
- … and even for more!
